Last Sunday, we attended a fantastic creative Zine fair at the MCA, whereby we bought ‘Pleased To Meat You’ by Mark Trzopek! Today, we bought these perfume bottles, part of the ‘Hunt and Gather’ series by Lab Partners - again, a Gocco print. We’re so inspired, we’ve decided it’s time for us to buy our own Gocco! So watch this space!

Another crazy collection - this time cakes! We quite often go to the little French cake shop in the Rocks, and spend ages picking one to enjoy with a pot of tea. This collection of cakes is clearly inspired by going there!

Also, whilst we’re on the subject of The Butchers Daughter, we can report that whilst eating amazingly good vegetarian food today for lunch, that we came up with plans for another 3 similarly themed illustrations…. watch this space!

Urban Decay is an ongoing project about the beautiful city of Sydney. Whilst many people associate Sydney with picture postcard perfectness, we see it rather differently. Hand painted signs are plentiful here in Sydney, though our favourites are the ones that have seen better days. Almost every street has at least one filthy, sad sign, and yet, unlike the nasty shiny plastic signs of the High Streets of England, as these ones get older, their charm shines through. Count Up is an on-going photographic project that we’re working on. The concept is very simple; see a nice piece of numeric type, and snap it! We’ll keep adding to the Count Up album on Flickr, as and when we see more numbers. Clearly there are many holes in it currently, and if we find better examples of numbers we already have, we’ll snap those too. You’ll note that on Flickr, the number allocated to the individual image does not correlate with the number actually in the image!

We thought we’d re-launch Corabella… we first re-discovered Corabella back in 2005, and since then, she’s sat quietly, waiting for some action. This year, we’ve promised ourselves we’ll do more with Corabella and Mash the dog, so look out for her soon! Click the image above, or the ad at the top of the page to see more of Corabella.

Just finished making this dog for Cinzia’s birthday. Currently, he’s nameless, but I’m sure soon, Cinzia and Corali will name him! Seeings as the Post Office here charge by size AND weight, we thoughts we’d curl him up in a smaller box, where he looked like he was snoozing. Fingers crossed he’ll get to Blighty in one piece!
